This is not the original crest for the CARTER family. This is an updated version which symbolizes the family unity and efforts in finding our living and deceased family members, using whatever means is available to us.

Tim CARTER had his daughter update the crest for our line of the family in 1999. Permission has been granted for Descendants of Thomas James Carter to display this crest with pride, as long as they realize it represents only the Descendants of Thomas James CARTER.
